Our Sushi Bar
Sushi
is not just "raw fish." Sushi indicates foods that use rice seasoned with sweet
rice-wine vinegar. Raw fish is called sashimi in Japan and is not the same as
sushi. Raw fish is the most popular ingredient in sushi, but the main element in
sushi is Japanese sticky rice.
There are many kinds of sushi that don't include raw fish. Cooked fish,
shellfish, and various other ingredients are regularly combined in sushi. A
typical Sushi serving of 7 to 9 pieces is about 300-450 calories.
The fish in sushi provides protein and
can be a good source of Omega-3 fatty acids. The vegetables in sushi are a great
source of vitamins, seaweed is rich in iodine, and rice provides complex
carbohydrates. So, sushi is not only good to eat - it's good for you!
Our Sushi bar, tucked away in a corner of the restaurant, sits 8-10
comfortably. Diners are treated to closely observing our skilled Sushi chefs as
they prepare traditional delights.
